Hello friends-- we are asking for donations that will go towards bags of essentials that get handed out to whoever needs them living on the streets of Chicago. This year, we're trying to get the jump well before the most bitter parts of the year set in & we've already started compiling supplies on our own. As of today, we've got about 20 pairs of wool socks and gloves . If you can help pitch in whatever you can, we're aiming to get other essentials too: chapstick, lotion, toothbrushes,pads, kleenex, sanitizer, etc. Last year we had some friends join us to hand out bags & we'd love to have some help again (got any suggestions for where we should go? want to come? let us know!).
